Kothamangalam Cheriapally Charitable Foundation
With the objective of extending charitable activities to a wider community, the Kothamangalam Cheriapally Charitable Foundation (KCCF) was established.
The foundation was registered before the Registrar of Societies, Ernakulam, on 5 July 2023, under Registration No. EKM/TC/356/2023.
Following the recommendation of the Mar Thoma Cheriapally Managing Committee, the registration was amended on 18 December 2025.
Mar Basil Dialysis Care
Mar Basil Dialysis Care was established as part of the healthcare activities of Mar Thoma Cheriapally, with the aim of making healthcare services more effective and accessible.
With the objective of helping kidney patients, the free dialysis programme was started on 22 August 2021 under the leadership of Mar Thoma Cheriapally.
Kidney disease is one of the most serious lifestyle-related illnesses and is the cause of many health complications. Patients who require dialysis may need to undergo dialysis 2 to 3 times a week, while some patients require 8 to 12 dialysis sessions every month.
Through this programme, coupons are provided to kidney patients. These coupons can be redeemed for dialysis at Mar Baselios Medical Mission Hospital or St. Joseph Dharmagiri Hospital, Kothamangalam.
With the objective of providing greater support to kidney patients and making the free dialysis programme more effective, the Managing Committee of Mar Thoma Cheriapally decided to establish Mar Basil Dialysis Care at its meeting held on 4 July 2021. The initiative was formally established following a consultation meeting held on 22 November 2021.
The programme is supported by the parish priests, various committee members, and around 100 volunteers and coordinators from the parish and its institutions.
Through this initiative, we aim to extend a helping hand to kidney patients in Kothamangalam Taluk and the surrounding areas.

Charity Home
The Charity Home works with the objective of providing assistance to bedridden patients. Through the Charity Home, essential equipment and support materials required by bedridden patients are provided free of cost.
Mar Baselios Medical Store
Affordable medicines and support for bedridden patients
Mar Baselios Medical Store, located on the western side of the church, began operations on 12 May 2024.
The Medical Store provides medicines to patients at concessionary rates and aims to offer greater support to bedridden patients.
For the past two years, diapers have also been distributed free of cost to bedridden patients through the Medical Store.
